• Discuss the limitations associated with generating unit operating capacity
• Describe the various systems found in power plant

• Explain the operation of the various hydro generation systems
• Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of combustion turbines and combined cycles plants
• Explain the fundamental characteristics of various other generation sources that are currently in use
