Description
This course focuses on reliable system
operation. System operator positions, basic concepts of load shedding, and
restoration and disturbance avoidance, the tools, technologies (including
backup control centers available to manage emergency conditions in all situations),
sabotage and responses, congestion management, and applicable NERC standards
are discussed.
