Description

This preparation course gives students the essential knowledge to pass the FCC Radar Endorsement that accompanies the General Radiotelephone Operators License.

Normally, this class accompanies the FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License class.  A student may attend the radar training sessions if they already have the GROL.  The course includes the administration of the official FCC exams and the proven course format and training techniques result in an extremely high pass ratio.

Element 8 (Radar)

E8 covers the principles of radar, types of radar systems, system operations/components, radar equations, transmitters, receivers, antennas, maintenance techniques and safety issues.

  • Explain how radar radio transmitters and receivers work
