Course: PC215: Interconnected Systems (NERC hrs) Printable version
Description

The concepts of how major power utility systems operate as an interconnected grid are discussed in this course.  The course includes administrative as well as operative procedures.  System dynamics and protection are covered to maximize reliability, stability and disturbance minimization.

Applicable NERC standards are discussed in this course.

Note: Hands-On simulation training included!

This course is part of APT's Electric Power Proficiency Certification Program.

Learning Outcomes
